Concours 2016 Mokhtar Film Festival Thursday September 15th, 2016

Theme: Exile G

Because the matter is highly topical, but also because it runs through the history of Humanity, we have chosen the theme of Exile for this new edition of the Mokhtar Film Festival.

5 rules to participate

The theme of exile is very specific, and very open at the same time. It can therefore be interpreted in different manners.

This year the competition concerns two categories: documentary and fiction. Two prizes will therefore be awarded.

This is only a game. At the same time, it is a space for expression with artistic, cultural, political and social considerations. The competition is important, but we would like to focus on the exchange and sharing of artistic works.

We have decided to increase the maximum film length allowed this year. Many of the films submitted last year have to dramatically shorten their pieces in order to respect the 5 minutes limit set in the previous editions. We don’t want this to happen anymore! This doesn’t mean that the films submitted should absolutely last 9 minutes: it’s still possible to make shorter films: 5 mins, 2 mins, or even 30 seconds (minimum length allowed).

By midnight using this link. The Awards ceremony will take place on 8 April 2016.
